Hey Guys,
It might seem like I fell of the face of the Earth since I was MIA for practically this whole month, but I was just really busy with school and study that I couldn't catch a break to write a post. Since all of my exams are now over (finally!), I have time to relax and catch up on writing posts - I have an exciting line up of posts planned for my lovely readers. Since I didn't post much last month, I decided I would recap all of the things that I was excited about during the month of October in an 'October Favourites' post. This also kicks off the start of a new posting schedule, where at the end of each month I will write about all that inspired me in a 'favourites' post.
This month I loved:
Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub
This lip scrub from Lush is amazing! I had never owned a lip scrub before and didn't really see a use for one, but as soon as I got this from Lush I realised what I was missing out on. Whenever my lips are dry and chapped, I just scrub onto my lips a bit of this product, apply lip balm, and voila, my lips are as soft as a baby's butt. The best thing about this product is that once you apply it, you can lick off the excess! - It tastes like bubblegum, hence the name. The lip scrub is edible due to its fresh ingredients which include castor sugar and organic jojoba oil.I absolutely love this product and can't believe I didn't stumble upon it earlier. I will definitely be repurchasing it.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey
Another great lip product is the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in the colour Honey.
Balm Stains are great and versatile products that feel super light on your lips. The colour of this balm stain applies very well, does not feel heavy on your lips, and lasts all day long. I use this product alone as well as under lip gloss or lip balm (although it is very moisturising on its own), to add shine. It is a very versatile product and depending on how much you apply, can look lighter or darker - I often opt for a lighter look, so I only go over my lips with the stain lightly once. The best thing about this product is that it tastes like peppermint and is so refreshing for your lips.
Arganmidas Moroccan Argan Oil Fresh Moisturising Cream
This product will make your hair look super healthy and shiny. I purchased this product because my hair was really dry and damaged from heat use, and in conjunction with a Pantene hair masque, my hair has become noticeably shinier and healthier. I use this product every day and it makes my hair smooth to the touch. I use it on damp hair if I washed my hair in the shower, and on dry hair other days. This is a great product that can repair damaged hair and keep it looking healthy.
Viva La Juicy Perfume
I have been loving Viva La Juicy perfume from Juicy Couture this month. It smells absolutely amazing!
It is a fragrance of sparkling fruit and flowers with top notes of wild berries and mandarin, heart notes of honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine, and base notes of caramel, vanilla, sandalwood, amber, and praline.
I use this perfume everyday, and spray so much on that I have almost finished the bottle (I have never done that with any other perfume). I am a sucker for anything that smells good, and this perfume smells good.
Bethany Mota Aeropostale Collection
This has to be the most exciting news of October!
Bethany Mota aka Macbarbie07 on Youtube is set to release her own clothing line at Aeropostale and it is going to be released on the 8th of December! I am so excited for this line because I love Beth's Youtube videos and she has an amazing fashion sense. I can't wait!
Until next time,
Carissa
