Quick & Easy Hair Tutorials Inspired by Lauren Conrad!

Hey Girls,

Lauren Conrad is the most stylish celebrity ever! She always has perfect hair, make-up, and outfits, and she even has two books in which she shares her tips and tricks on how to look amazing: Lauren Conrad Style & Lauren Conrad Beauty.
I thought that I would share some super easy hairstyle tutorials inspired by LC herself with my lovely readers, so that if you are bored with having the same hairstyle everyday, these looks will inspire you to try something new. These hairstyles are also really quick to create, but look stunning, so enjoy!

This fishtail braid is super easy to create, and is an exciting twist on a classic braid. If you are unsure on how to create a fishtail braid, watch this simple, straightforward video tutorial. After creating the braid, tug/pull at it from the sides so that it loosens and looks a lot more effortless and messy. Then. spritz your hair with sea salt spray to keep the braid in place and maintain the effortless/messy look. At the end of the braid, tie a pretty bow to complete the look.

This pretty yet effortless, summer hairstyle can easily be recreated with a few simple steps.
Firstly, using a curling wand (or straightener, if you are able to curl with one), wrap strands of hair around it, until all of your hair has been curled. Then, using a brush, or your fingers, stretch out the curls so that they loosen up and look more natural. Finally, make a middle part in your hair and take a section from each end, wrap it around, tuck it under, and with bobby pins, attach the sections at the back of your head - it should look a bit like a halo. Spray with hairspray and you are good to go!

For a more glamorous look, curl large sections of your hair with a larger curling iron or hot rollers. Once hair has cooled, use a paddle brush and brush through your hair. It will make the curls look super soft and create that 'Old Hollywood' look. Finish the look by pulling back a small section of hair and attach it to the side of your head with a pretty clip.

This hairstyle is so cute and girly! I love it!
To recreate this look, tease a small section of your hair at the top of your head, smooth it over with a comb, and tie it with the rest of your hair into a low ponytail. You should also allow a few pieces to fall out from the front to frame your face. Then, use a curling wand to curl small sections of hair in the pony, and use a texture spray to scrunch the ponytail. This will add volume to the hairstyle, and keep it from looking flat. Complete the look with an oversized ribbon tied to the ponytail.

If your hair isn't looking that great, or you are just looking for a super quick hairstyle, a high pony is the way to go. Pull hair to the crown of your head and brush to ensure that there are no bumps. Then, secure with an elastic. After this, take a curling wand and curl random sections of the ponytail. Using your fingers, run them through your hair so the curls separate and don't join together. Then, use sea salt spray through the ponytail so that it looks effortless and beach-y. From the hairline to the start of the ponytail use a comb and hairspray to hold your hair while also smoothing it.
